Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka's birthplace is Minsk in Belarus. Sergey, her father (who passed away in 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born on May 5th, 1998, at Minsk Belarus. Aryna Sabalenka holds 12 WTA Singles titles. One of which was named 'Grand Slam' in the Australian Open 2023. Doubles is another sport where she is a pro. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Mertens. In 2019, she was the winner of two majors, in the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian partner, completing the Sunshine Double. Only four couples were able to make it happen in women's doubles. On 23 August 2021 she rose to second position on the list of world singles rankings her best ranking reached again in January 2023. She climbed to the top of the doubles rankings in the next year after triumphing in Melbourne. She became the only Belarusian tennis player to be successful in tennis. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 and the end of 2019 as well as a beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann coached her briefly in August of 2020 until September. Her training has been provided by her nationman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams is her role model, being followed by Maria Sharapova.
